Is three a way to turn of indexing on the ipad? I have 8000 resources and it takes or ever every time I start up Logos. It is a good problem but it if I've minutes of being frozen or very slow every time I start it up.

Not currently. Logos might want to see logs...
My experience is that the app performs an index only when I purchase a new resource. (I only have 3200 resources, and it takes about a minute). Out of curiosity... how many downloaded books do you have?
Actually I have exactly 8000 resources. They are all downloaded on my ipad except the few that are not permitted to do so.

I wonder if that is the problem... The app really isn't designed for that. Are you in an area with poor internet connection (wifi)? How much space is left on your device? Have you tried using one of the other Logos apps to see if it has similar problems?
