Link / Pop-Up Referencing Procedure (Recommendation)

I have noticed that there is a lack of continuity in how links are formed in "see note at verse X:YZ" situations.
There is a right way and a wrong way for this to be handled, and it's found both ways in Logos. The wrong way is to have the verse notation "verse X:YZ" hyperlinked to the verse itself, since that isn't what the reference is referencing. Rather it is the attached note to verse X:YZ that is being referenced...that is what should come up in the preview pop-up.
Sometimes hovering over the verse notation (verse X:YZ) will take you to the note in question, but that isn't really the best way to handle the situation either, though it is better and more helpful than linking to the verse. The best way to handle this situation would be to have two links in a "see note at verse X:YZ" instance--one attached to the word "note" that links to the note, and one attached to the verse that links to the verse.
As helpful as hyperlinks are, preview pop-ups are far better. And while I'm on this subject, I will beat the thoroughly dead horse of "pop-up notation window size" once more. Whether this is a losing battle or not, I'm right about this. These should NOT BE LIMITED TO THE CURRENT 2.5x3 IN. BOXES, but should be as large as necessary to convey the material. Having to click a link to open a new window increases clutter on the screen and has the potential to distract from the task at hand, and nothing is more irritating than reading all of the information in the pop-up box only to have it come to an...]
And then have to click the link, open the new window, just to find that the only part of the pop-up that remains unread is [...end.] Infuriating! This is one of the worst changes from L3 to L4/5. I realize that some people objected to pop-ups covering up large portions of the screen...BUT THAT'S THEIR PURPOSE--to give you the info you need without having to click to see it. If you don't want to have a pop-up cover your screen...
...MOVE THE CURSOR. It really is that simple, and you don't absurdly truncate the information you want to preview. This principle, of course, applies to user-created notes as well.
Anyway, the "see note" links need to show the note--not the verse it is attached to.
