I am experimenting with different ways to help organize my resources outside of L4 into L4 to keep it as a central place for resources. Overall I am very pleased with L4 and am hoping to use it to help me organize some data that is not included in the recourses. Specifically when I find news articles online or other resources I would like to import (ie copy & paste) into L4 and have them show up in my search results.
So today I found a great reference on happiness from Pew Research (http://pewglobal.org/commentary/display.php?AnalysisID=1020) I went ahead and created a new note file in L4 with the title of the article, and "imported" the article into the note along with the URL for future reference. I have saved the note and it has the term "happiness" all over it.
Now I do a basic search in L4 for the word "happiness." I am a little surprised that there are no topics listed under this query, but even more surprised to find that the "My Content" section is totally empty. I would have thought for sure that my note about happiness would have been included in these search results.
1) Am I missing something about notes or am I wrong about expecting them to show up in my search results? This note definitely has the term "happiness" in both the notes and the title, so why wouldn't it show up?
2) If anyone else out there uses L4 for cataloging external resources would you mind sharing your best practices?
Thanks!
