Even my teenagers haven't been able to figure out how to close one of my resources that I accidentally opened. What's the trick?
And where should I have looked for the answer? I have been looking.

You don't actually close a book - you simply open a new one!

Suppose I have opened several books during a particular study session. I seems I have to tap the back button as many times as I have books open to finally be able to close the program. A "close all" feature would be helpful.

If you are using Ice Cream Sandwich, simply go to the home screen and then using the button to the right which shows all open apps, swipe right on the one you want to close.
