For my personal use I'm concerned with lectionary texts but the same principle applies to all oral reading of Scripture. I know I can use the sentence diagramming tool to do this but ...

1. I would like to be able to add line breaks in the text to create a text for reading aloud. An example:

2. I would like to be able to be able to insert line breaks through highlighting (see line break symbol I currently use). I would also like a highlighter function that permitted the entry of variable text (in this case see addition and modification highlighter styles), This would facilitate all sorts of linguistic and structural tagging by the user. My current palette for lectionary readings which is specific to the Catholic lectionary:

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."
