Uninstall Logos from Old Computer

I've been a Logos user since 2.0. I have a copy of v5 on my office (church) computer and a copy of v4 on my laptop at home. I have just resigned as pastor at this church and will be leaving in about two months. I want to "take" Logos with me to my next call, installing Logos 5 on that "new "office computer.

I have always assumed that, like many software packages, after I have purchased Logos I am allowed to install a copy on (up to) two computers. 1) Is this correct?

If this is correct, then just before I leave, I'll "uninstall" Logos on my office computer. 2) Will this remove both the program and the books? And 3) How does Logos now know that I have installed the program on just one computer?

4) Am I worrying about something that doesn't even matter?

You can install logos on as many computers as you want, for your own personal use only.

Yes.

Make sure to uninstall it, but otherwise, you are ok. [:)]

I think Bama answered your questions well. I have installed and uninstalled Logos on several computers (for various reasons). I uninstall using the programs and features tool in Windows and then, just to make sure it got everything I go into the AppData directory and delete the logos folder. I don't know if the last step is really necessary, it just makes me feel better to know I don't see it anymore.

By default, the uninstaller leaves the 'Documents' folder behind, in case you are reinstalling. If you know you are permanently removing Logos from this computer, you can delete the Logos folder to remove your personal files.

I never drilled down into the directory to see what was left. That's good to know. Thanks Bradley
