This may be a dumb question, but how do I set the Faithlife app to select a specific bible I want to use?  I goto settings and put NIV as my preferred bible, but as soon as I open the app it goes back to the Lexham English Bible?  Thanks for any help!

You mean the preferred bible setting "goes back to the Lexham English Bible," or the app opens back up to the LEB, but the setting is still set to the NIV? Do you own the NIV?

On iPad, you can simply tap the Bible version name at the top of the screen. On iPhone (or iPad) you can also use the menu button (after tapping the screen to bring up controls) and then swipe-right through the "Search" menu to the Resources tab, where you can choose the Bible version.

It sounds to me like you possible haven't opened the NIV yet. Is that correct? Bob actually taught me something cool just now… If you press the translation name at the top, it will provide you with a list of bible resources. When the app closes, it should reopen to whichever version was last used. The "preferred" bible does NOT mean that is the bible the app opens with (as I said, it will open up to what you left off with). The "preferred" bible is the translation that hyperlinks will be shown in.

Does that make sense? If I need to, I can post some screen shots. Just let me know.

You guys are awesome.  I assumed that the "preferred" bible was the one that would start each time.  Now that I have NIV selected in the top left, then close and re-open, it stays NIV.  Thanks alot!
