Fixed Format - dinosaur days

Would it be possible to fix the formatting of a particular Bible version in order to keep verses showing up on the same part of the page? It's the one feature of good old fashioned paper that I miss there most. It may seem a bit archaic, but I cannot express how much a fixed physical location helps me to recall/memorize scripture.

For instance, can anyone recall the (dinosaur) days when you may not have remembered the exact scripture reference, but you could remember that the verse was on the top right side of a particular page? When it comes to spontaneity in preaching, I am coming to regret having lost this recall ability after having spent so much time on all my electronic devices.

Perhaps, a global setting feature could be created to select our preferred device size.

With a digital book you would have to maintain a rigid regime of opening and reading/scrolling to even get close to a consistent "physical" location e.g. there is no point trying to locate a reference when you used the Verse Finder to get close to it. Adding notes and highlights will also upset physical positioning, as will changing font size.

Perhaps, a global setting feature could be created to select our preferred device size.

Physical characteristics won't help when any passage can start at the top of the screen.

You'll have to use a digital method to locate it  e.g. search for the few words you remember and restrict it to a specific bible book if necessary (or possible).
