BUG: Search that should work is returning no results
iPad 4 wifi 128gb. iOS 6.1.3. Logos Bible app 3.2.4.
I'm doing a search from the sidebar, in NAS / New Testament, for the word "where." It returns no results. I know a verse where the word exists, so I search for "debater," and it returns 4 results including 1 Cor 1:20, which has the word "where" in it 3 times. For good measure, I try searching for "Where" (capital 'W'), but still no results. I don't find any instances of the word "where" in ESV / New Testament either.
So search is working but it's not finding the word "where."
Two questions: a) Why is this failing? b) What other words might it not find?
Thanks,
Donnie

I can confirm this issue… but it isn't confined to the NASB. I checked the ISV as well. [:S]

No idea, but clearly a bug. Running the same search in L5 produces many hits.

Don't know. Hopefully figuring out why "where" doesn't work will fix any others as well. I will post a new thread in the beta forum so that the devs get a heads up about this issue.

It doesn't find "was, "is" or "it" either. It looks like the iOS search is purposely(?) ignoring common words.
The searches also work correctly on biblia.com and bible.faithlife.com.

There is a good chance you are right.

Hi Donnie,
This appears to be a bug - I'll write up a case. As a workaround, please use single or double quotes (as in 'where' - quotes included) when searching for terms that don't otherwise display results.
