I think I would pay for this as a feature...

I have been working/thinking on utilizing my awesome library more tightly with the "hub" of my work the biblical text.... Here is an idea

I know that you can use the "cited by" feature to pull up any reference via any collections. However I think it would be helpful if in the text of the scripture (distinguished from notes) you could have a link/mouseover where certain author's or data sets that you have purchased could be seen and accessed.

To give you an idea of what I mean. I often am curious if Carson or any massive work such as "Beale's NT theology" references the passage before me. So say this feature existed I would see a "note-like" link right to that reference.....

Data sets could be made available including resources that focus on different subjects/disciplines. They could be turned off or on and would appear in the text of the scripture.

This would integrate the library more tightly into the scripture...... Maybe this is not worth the work involved, maybe "cited by" is enough. My .02 :)

I would agree! Remember that cited By can be tailored to your Library of resources i.e. you create collections that focus on specific subjects/disciplines instead of relying on someone else to provide datasets. Also, your collections will always be up to date with references and their locations.

This isn't quite what you're after but it works really well for me. I have my "go-to resources" in several collections (e.g. "favorite reference titles," "favorite sermons," etc). I created a custom passage guide that has these collections in it. Now, whenever I'm in a passage I can run that passage guide and instantly see if my favorite resources reference the passage.

I created a custom passage guide

Would you be willing to post a couple screenshots of how you set up that passage guide?
