Tonight we had a repeat of what happened last Sunday night. In the middle of the presentation we "lost connection to the server". The sync button displayed a yellow caution triangle with the message "unable to sync" and a red box appeared at the bottom of the screen "cannot connect to the server". We were still able to advance the slides, but no one in the sanctuary could get the signals from the presentation AND I lost control of the presentation from my tablet while I was preaching. This is the second Sunday that we have used Proclaim and this has happened both Sunday nights. We have not had this problem on Sunday mornings.
After it happened last Sunday night, I called our Internet Provider and upped our internet speed from 786 kbps to 5/1.5, thinking that the increased speed would help. Obviously it didn't help.
We are using a Lenovo Thinkpad Edge E520, running Windows 7 Professional, and we have a wireless internet connection with mvn.net. We are not part of a Network and we are not behind a firewall.
