Screen Shot Problem in 2.3.11
I am using HTC Droid DNA and you will notice in the screen shot that the OS task bar overlaps the menu icons making them difficult to press. Is this a bug or is there something wrong with my settings?

I have it set for phone. I've tried all of the options and they all have this problem.

John or Dave, could you recommend a good screen capture software for a droid tablet? The one I found is only for rooted tablets. Thanks. Using Toshiba Thrive.

I can't comment on the Toshiba pad, but the only way to do screenshots in a non-rooted non-HD Kindle Fire is via the debug monitor of the Android SDK - this should in theory work for any Android device, though.Installing this is not for the faint of heart (see http://howto.cnet.com/8301-11310_39-57348356-285/how-to-take-screenshots-on-the-kindle-fire/ - I followed the instructions from another website that eludes me, but you get the idea) and it will require USB connection from the PC to do screen captures, thus I hope there's an app for you....Have joy in the Lord!

I just googled it and it looks like you can invoke the built-in screen capture on the Toshiba Thrive with Power & Vol Down button. Try pressing those buttons together and hold for a sec. It should take a capture and place the image in your gallery. It may take a couple tries to get the timing down right.Lynden Williams said:John or Dave, could you recommend a good screen capture software for a droid tablet? Or where you looking for an alternative to the built-in capture?

Elevating to top again. My fat finger syndrome is making it difficult to click the menu that reveals the left slide out menu. Logos, please see screenshot and let me know if this is a bug or design.

Hi John,
The HTC Droid DNA has a 1920x1080 5 inch display. This very high resolution in a small display is not something we've yet targeted or tested with, and there are indeed problems with certain text items being too small or at times too large depending on the scenario. I'll write up a case for our development department.

Have you ever tried to take screenshot with other software?

I take a screenshot on Android with the help of Android Transfer.
