Trick for dramatically speeding up Passage Guide

Hello Friends,

I just discovered a trick (after over a year of using Logos) on how to drastically speed up the passage guide. Now, I'm not sure if this is available for Logos 4, but it is in Logos 5.

Under "Guides", in the bottom left you should see an option for "Make a new guide template". After clicking this, you should be given a wide variety of options to either create a new guide from scratch, or start with the passage/exegetical templates. I started with the passage template, and removed all of the tools I don't use - the links to various sermon sites, media sites, music, world illustrations, etc. Now that it isn't pulling all of this unnecessary extra information, including having to query web sites, my new passage guide is INCREDIBLY faster. It loads for me almost immediately.

Years and years ago the Bible Society Good News (or TEV, or whatever!) had images ... hand drawings ... that sometimes said a thousand words .....

I remember the one from Galatians 6:2 and Galatians 6:5 -- the text is:

2　Bear one another’s burdens, and ^sso fulfill ^tthe law of Christ. ³For ^uif anyone thinks he is something, ^vwhen he is nothing, he deceives himself. ⁴But let each one ^wtest his own work, and then his reason to boast will be in himself alone and not in his neighbor. ⁵For ^xeach will have to bear his own load.

The image was one pilgrim helping the next one ahead of him/her and so on and so on and ended up with a little child carrying a knap sack and reaching out to help the one ahead of him with his burden ... Just Beautiful! Would love to have it in my Galatians notes, eh???

The reason I'm actually responding and posting is that I'm so excited that I "found" the image (line drawing) I was referring to earlier in this thread about Ben's "sharing" that reminded me of Galatians 6:2 and Galatians 6:5! *smile*

It is a line image in the printed Bible Society editions in the past; and the artist is Annie Vallotton!

Did you also know that if you give it the name My Passage Guide, it automatically becomes your default Passage Guide?

Will stored passage guides revert to the template used to create it or to the one with NAME of the one used to create it. I.E. If I have create a new "My Passage Guide" what happens to all those I created prior to creating the new version of the "My Passage Guide" template?
