Logos 5 "freezes" on Startup

I have the latest update 5.0b SR-3 (5.0.2.0752) for Logos 5 but I have noticed that several times in the last few months that the program is not opening properly. It will just stay forever on "Preparing Your Library" so that finally I shut down the program. Then when I attempt to open it again - it will flash on but then off immediately. I have found that the only way I can restore the program is to reboot my computer. Is anyone else having trouble this way?

I read of another person having difficulties… but logs would be needed to gain any insight. See my signature line for more info.

I am also experiencing this. I have not gotten the logs because it does not crash every time. Will try to get the logs.
Instead of rebooting, you can use task manager to kill the logos process.

I am on 5.0b SR-4, and about the last three times I have received downloaded resources, when I use the icon in the system tray to restart, Logos comes up and shows "preparing your library" for at least 10 minutes - it in fact never finishes, one time I left it for 30 minutes or so. What I have learned, is I click on the x to stop it. I bring up the resource window (Ctrl-Shift-Esc, I am on Windows 7 x64), and it shows both logos and the indexer running. I kill the Logos process, and then run Logos again. It shows "Preparing your library" for about 3 seconds and starts right up.
Something definitely gets frozen these days when new resources are downloaded.
