Newbie can't find Note Document screen

I am a newbie to Logos and have been pleased with L5 software and the i-phone app, so far. I have just acquired a nexus 7 and installed the android app but cannot find the note document screen that is available in the ios app.  The only thing found so far is highlighting and attaching a note to a verse or book but it does not allow a free standing note to be made nor does it allow access to stored notes. Am I overlooking the android note document screen?
