Is there a way to prevent the Outlook page from loading when I load my "Reading Plan" for the day?
Rick - Where are you seeing this? How are you accessing your reading plan? You're saying that Microsoft Outlook automatically starts when you access your reading plan in Logos? Did you ever try to export your reading plan to Outlook?
My reading plan sits in the left ribbon. When I click on it I get the reading plan on the left side and the option on the right to "Export to Outlook" every time. I don't think I ever attempted to export it to Outlook. At least not on purpose.
Hi Rick
As discussed in http://community.logos.com/forums/p/60386/435845.aspx this only occurs if the "reading pane" was blank before clicking on your reading plan.
As you can see from the thread Logos have acknowledged this but I don't know when it may be fixed.

Hmm I start up my program check what's new for the day on my home page. Then click on my reading plan and that's what comes up. So the screen isn't blank. But thank for letting me know that Logos has it on their radar.

Sorry - what I meant was whether the "screen on which you read resources" (not the homepage) was blank.
If you open Logos to the homepage and haven't opened resources before clicking on the reading plan then you will get this issue.
the Outlook page
For clarification: Now that I understand your issue a little more, let me explain something. The "outlook" page as you are calling it, is the actual reading plan document. If you navigate to your documents, you should be able to open the same document that way. Opening the document is how you would change details of the plan.
Doesn't matter if I open it from the icon or the hyper-link, or from documents. But it's not the end of the world. I just have to hit the x every time I open it. And sounds like Logos might have a repare coming for it? Thank for all the come-backs.

Here is what happens to me. You should also know that I am on Mac, I am running the latest beta, and I don't ever start from the homepage.
Also note, these behavior's are only for bible reading plans. The behavior is different for other reading plans.
Hi Alabama
When I click on the hyperlink, and I had NO layout open, a simple layout opens with the day's reading, a passage guide, and info panel.
I find this interesting[:)]
As per http://community.logos.com/forums/t/44738.aspx I used to get the behaviour you are describing (expect I get the Explorer window as opposed to the Info panel)
As per my post at http://community.logos.com/forums/p/60386/433520.aspx#433520 this now results in just the resource and the reading plan being opened.
When I click on the book cover, regardless of whether a layout is open or not, the day's reading opens up along with the reading plan.
If I click on the book cover (after having previously closed all open windows) I get the resource and the reading plan. However, if there were still resources open then clicking on the book cover just opens the resource at the correct point.
I am also running 5.1B4 but on Windows.
So it appears there are some differences between Mac and Windows in this area.
