This is too much

How do you stop all the emails flooding my box. I thought I would get one email a day. My email box is flooding with forum notifications. It was said that if you deleted the subscription email they would stop. Well, they did not stop. Please help me stop this flood of email into my box.

Douglas. Visit the particular thread and at the top click on the words that say "stop emailing replies to me."

At the bottom of each email there should be instructions to turn off the emails. Some of them may be post or forum specific.

Go to the thread that is bombarding your mailbox. In the top right corner of the page is a clickable sentence. If you are currently subscribed to that thread the clickable option will read "Stop emailing replies to me" If you are not currently subscribed to the thread the clickable link will read "Email me when someone replies"

Clicking this has always given me instant results. If that doesn't work for you, maybe tech support needs to get involved. A last ditch workaround is change your email filters to dump forum notices into a spam folder.

Or you could turn off all email notifications.

To do that go to your profile, select site options and set all the email preferences to 'No.' I don't receive any emails from this forum and don't want to. I just check back from time to time (way too often, probably).
