Suggestion: Visual filters should not apply to all copies of the resource

This may have been mentioned before, but I couldn't find the post.

Visual filters are useful, but can be over-powering. For that reason, it would be useful to be able to be able to open a copy of a resource and have a different set of visual filters applied. This is particularly useful if you use sets of visual filters, as under the current system you can find yourself frequently turning on/off three of four filters.

If you only work with one copy of a book, I think you'd expect that a visual filter applied to it would remain applied after you closed the book and reopened it.

But what if you open two copies, apply two different filter settings, and close both? Which filter status should be active when you open the book again? Last applied? Last closed?
