Sermon Illustration Storage

I plan to mine some of the rich church history books in my Logos library for sermon illustration purposes. My initial thought is that the best method for cataloging the info is in Clipping files.

  1. For each history book I read I'll form a clipping document. I'll clip passages that have significant illustrative properties.
  2. I'd tag those clips with the tags "Illustration" and the relevant illustration key words.
  3. Each clip would get notes that discuss its application.
  4. When searching for a sermon illustration I can search for the tags "Illustration" and relevant key words.

Does that sound like the best strategy?
