Persistent text selection/high light -- how to remove? Please help

One of my resources (NA 27) has been put (by me, probably, by mistake) into a state where all the text in the resource is "selected or highlighted" (showing a tone of beige).

This is very awkward. Can anyone help me figure out how to remove or reset whatever my mistaken action(s) were so I can get this turned off/reset? The state persists even if I close and reopen the resource, or even if, I exit and restart Logos itself. Right before I starting seeing this, I had selected large sections of the NA 27 and exported them to Word. Maybe that could help with context.

Thanks so much for any help in correcting my stupidity

Peace, Richard!              What a "strange" situation!   *smile*

There are days when I have no idea what I'm talking about; however, if it were me, I would consider rebooting my computer???

eh???             /////////                then, hoping to start all over again fresh ....

Richard, pressing F1 will open the help menu. Type in the box, remove annotation. Here is what I got.

To delete a note while in the resource, right-click on the note indicator or in selected text and choose Remove annotations.

Richard - Did you get it figured out? If it is an actual highlight, there is no note indicator to select. In L5, however, you can right click the highlight and "remove annotation" is at the bottom right. I am unsure if this is true with L4 or not.

Out of curiosity… is there a reason you haven't moved to the free L5 engine? It is strongly recommended that you do so, unless your system specs aren't "up to spec".

It might be a rogue Visual filter. Click the tri-colour Visual filter icon in the NA27 task bar and deselect any VF's/highlights/notes to see the effect.
