Please Bring back the Key-Link feature

I absolutely loved the key-link feature in Logos 3. I could click on a Greek word and have numerous lexicons pop up and quickly do my word research. It was quick, easy and very efficient and functional. I plead that this feature be included in Logos 4.

I believe that Logos is working on an L4 version of this (possibly not a carbon copy I'm assuming) but something similar...I thought I had read that in the forums.

Is there some reason you don't like a right click to bring up your lexicons?

Robert, the right click is just another step or two I have to take to get the info that I seek. In logos 3 just one click on the word or number did the trick and brought up my favorite linked lexicons--all at once. I always appreciate any tips of help I can receive from those who have more expertise in the workings of logos. Thank you, my brother--Steve

Many people have made that comment as well. There are new and more comprehensive ways of doing what key-link used to do in L3. It'll take you a couple of days to get used to the new philosophy in L4, but once you get it you'll be doing things you never dreamed were possible in L3. For starters, familiarize yourself with layouts and prioritizing resources in L4. Then watch John Fidel's excellent video on his preferred layout for doing exegesis. You'll see in that video that you can easily do everything you could do in L3 key-links with single-click access. It's just different how you get L4 set up to be able to do that.

There is no way to double-click on a Greek word and have it immediately open one's top 1/2/3/4/5/6/etc. Greek lexicons in v4. This was a wonderful feature in v3 which I hope they move towards incorporating in v4.

Dear Rosie, that was an excellent suggestion and video. I'm SO thankful for those of you who are more experienced users of L4. I hate this 'learning-curve'...but I'm hoping in time to "get it" and finally get L4 to do everything I liked about L3 and then some. Thanks you very much for your help. Damian, I give a hearty "AMEN" to that. But I'm willing to be patient and learn this new system. But L-3 seemed a lot easier to me--especially with this feature. Blessings my brother, Steve
