Anyone know how to remove the bookmarks from the scroll bar, you know the little grey and black lines on the scroll bar?
The problem, is scrolling one page, when main scroll bar is near a bookmark.
Charles,
Removing them (visually) is coming soon. It's already in the beta version.
. . . you know, I think I like those little read-wear marks. a nice little feature. Haven't used them much yet, but the more I look at them, "I likey."
Thanks.
I like them too, but sometimes they get in the way. It will be nice to be able to temporarily disable them.
OR clear them and start over.
Have any of the updates lately enabled us to do this yet? If so, can you help clue me in?
The Program settings in 4.0a allow you to turn visual bookmarks off.
Thanks so much Kevin!
I had seen the setting but was not smart enough to relate it to what it does. Usually I don't touch anything unless I know exactly what it does.

Is there anywhere to do this--clear them and start over?

Unfortunately, no. But I would like to have this ability.
Have you tried turning them off; restarting Logos and turning them back on? - I've not tried it so who knows?
Just tried, and it didn't work.... it was a good idea though.

Will "Clear and Start over" be included in the next updates? If there will be such a function, I hope that there are options like "Last week," "Last 4 week," and "every thing."
Nothing like that has been announced, but I would not be surprised if Logos listens and gives us some more granular options for the visual bookmarks.

From what I see, these visual bookmarks still cannot be reset or refreshed. I'm trying to figure out how best to use the little markers. I can see the value of having them in any given study session, but if I shift studies or thoughts, I would like to be able to refresh them and start over. Can this be done?
Yeah, they are a nuisance, since you can't scroll around without accidentally hitting one, and then it takes you to a passage you looked at, who knows how long ago. If you're using a book once in a while, maybe it's okay, but in the BIBLE?? [:(]

you can disable these, see here
Thanks. That is a huge help! I agree it can be useful for most of the books, but for the Bible it results in way, way too many bookmarks.
