Crossway has been ravaged by flooding.

Brought back memories of floodwaters in Pittsburgh many years ago that wiped out Soli Deo Gloria publications, resulting in the closing of the company and the sale of the book rights to Reformation Heritage Books.

And of course I am still recovering from a house flood of my own caused by a second floor toilet failure about two weeks ago. I lost about 5 dozen books, most of which can be replaced and/or I aslo own in Logos digital form too. One lost book that I cannot replace though is The Collected Works of J. Hudson Taylor from Dust and Ashes Publications. It was #82 of a limited run of 250. And had never been printed begore or since.

Has anyone ever used any service that attempts to restore water damaged books? If yes, do you recommend trying that avenue?

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I can only imagine how discouraging it must be for Crossway and for your mini-flood as well. I paused to offer a prayer. I hope that you and Crossway are able to get the help you need.
