I don't have that resource, but I do highly recommend the Dictionary of Bible themes which seems similar: https://www.logos.com/product/16107/dictionary-of-bible-themes

The DBT is obviously viewed highly by Logos too, as they used it heavily in the Sermon Starter Guide.

+1 for DBT.  I use it a lot.  It's one of the privileged resources which has a short-cut icon in Logos 5. [:)]  I use it a lot...

Here's an example of how themes are dealt with in DBT:

I don't have that resource, but I do highly recommend the Dictionary of Bible themes which seems similar: https://www.logos.com/product/16107/dictionary-of-bible-themes

The DBT is obviously viewed highly by Logos too, as they used it heavily in the Sermon Starter Guide.

I have that one you wrote down, since its included in all L5 packages.

I wonder if DBT & Topical Analysis similar with Thematic Bible?

If the answer is yes .. then I would be buying it.. Because I need more resources on "Theme" stuffs.

    Thank you!

I'd say go for it.  I used to have it but during a financial crunch I had to return it.  I might call sales and see if I can get a good discount on it and add it to my L5 library.  Very helpful resource!

Ps. It's published by Logos, so I don't know why they just didn't go ahead and include it in L5 packages to make the sermon starter and topic guide more robust.

Don't waste your money. The Thematic Bible is poor.

The Dictionary of Bible Themes is hard to beat.

    https://www.logos.com/product/16107/dictionary-of-bible-themes

The Dictionary of Bible Themes was originally a study bible called ironically The Thematic Bible Published by Hodder and Stoughton.

    I have a paper copy [:)]

I'd say it'll complement the Dictionary of Bible Themes; but then again, if he wants to save some bucks, Nave's, and Torrey's Topical Bibles plus Elwell's Topical Analysis of the Bible along with the DoBT should be enough.  Nave's, Torrey's and Elwell's are included in all base packages (correct me if I'm wrong).

    Blessings!

When I purchase the Thematic Bible this morning and used it for 15mins or so ... IT was great!

It was 2 books side by side (it was different than ANY other books I've purchased, they connect)

It really complement my Topical Analysis which is better than DBT .. i think.

    .

I'll try for another week, then see what happen. Please do recommend me more books in the same category if you know any.

    thank you!

    To All:

The following is given for those who pending the purchase of the MARVELOUS software.

I have spent over 50 years of prayer and study of the Bible and related writings. At the age of 71 I set out to get a  Bachelors  Degree and did. I had been thinking about doing what the people of Logos have accomplished. To be able to search in such detail is indeed a big blessing for the serious student of the Bible scriptures. I could not have spent the money in any better way!

If you are desiring a excellent tool for study and research, this it it.
