BUG: Homepage Typographical Layout

OK - I will admit that I am unlikely to be won over to the homepage until major improvements are made, largely because I am a typographical snob. Today I have an example of one of the more egregious errors. Notice that an article starts in the second column and continues in the third column, but is separated by another article which spans the third and fourth columns.

Personally, I would much rather have the ability to create homepage layouts, where we can add features into a predesigned shape (layout) of our choice. This would NOT be the shape of my choice. [:P]

Flowing devotionals with background color across columns can be a bit distracting, especially when column break occurs before bottom item that has multiple columns:

Likewise wish could drag Home Page content into desired display order.
