Is there a way to search for charts or tables containing specific information?

For example a table listing the prophets and the nation to whom they prophesied.

The best way I know is tag:(table, chart) AND prophets .

Hi Joe, I think what you are looking for is in Halley's Bible Handbook: logosres:halleybblhbk;ref=Page.p_365

Also, the Visual Survey of the Bible has some nice charts on the prophets: logosres:vissurv;art=p32

In Logos 4 and 5.0, do a basic search for:

#image ANDEQUALS tag:(table, chart) ANDEQUALS prophets

In Logos 5.1, do an image search for prophets, and tick charts and tables under "All images" (although there's a bug at the moment).

I think you'll get more results with the simpler tag: search I suggested. Some of them seem to be what you'd want. A few are spurious.

True. It's often useful to widen your search to include extra results - the downside is, as you've said, that you also get false positives. Personally, I prefer to start with a narrow, precise search, and widen it only if required.

    Thanks for your responses -

David, the resources you suggested helped greatly.

Mark and Mark - you two always give me insight into how to take more advantage of the power of Logos.  In this case with my library, the addition of "#image" to the search string enabled me to get what I wanted with fewer hits.

    Thanks again!
