Android Suite 2.4.5 Beta Release

The Android team is pleased to announce the 2.4.5 beta release of the Bible, Biblia, FSB, Verbum and Vyrso apps.

If you installed the app via the download link you can upgrade to the latest beta by clicking on the download link listed below, download the apk to your device and upgrading your existing app. If you want to receive an automatic notification when a new beta is available click on the gear icon, selecting the “about” option then change the Update Channel option from “stable” to “beta” (no quotes). Note: This Update Channel option only appears on the About page if you installed the app via our download link.

If you discover any issues please create a new post and include the following info:
  Description – How were you using the app when the problem occurred.
  App Info – Which app you are using. (Bible, Biblia, Faithlife Study Bible, Vyrso)
  Device Info – (Nexus 7, Motorola Triumph, Droid Bionic, Kindle Fire (1st gen))
  Android Version – (2.3, 3.x, 4.0, 4.1, 4.2)

FYI: The Multi Windowing 'Switch to Previous Size' Button overlaps the Gray Circle when it is located at the bottom of the screen making the circle difficult to grab.

File this under 'Things We Already Knew But Thanks Anyway'.

Hi Dave,

The Android Version example shown here is just that - an example for customers who report issues. It doesn't mean that Logos 2.4.5 runs on Android 2.2 (it doesn't). The download link is correct in stating that Logos 2.3.13 is the newest version for Android 2.2 users.

Samsung Multi-Window Support

Please clarify the Android versions for this (4.1.2 up)?

Currently Samsung's new Multi-Window feature only works on Android 4.1.2 or above (and only on select Samsung devices). Logos should work on every device/version where Multi-Window is available.

I did not intend that interpretation of "sucked in". I originally thought the "Multi-Window" feature might apply to my device whereas the clarification puts the matter beyond doubt, as does the removal of v2.2 from the original list of Android versions.
