(How many) Multi screen display??

There was a post several years ago about this ... but there's been so many updates that I'm hoping there's more ....

How many displays can Proclaim currently support? Specifically -- can there be 3?

1. no signal

2. slides

3. confidence

(currently our church holds service in a hotel banquet room, but we are waiting to move into our new permanent location -- so today my 1 macbook pro serves as the confidence display, the projector does the slides, and I use my iPad to remotely control. but going forward ... I would really like the ability to have live edit capability -- and no wireless lag on slide changes)

My understanding is that Proclaim will allow as many monitors as your video card can natively support. The major caveat is that it currently only allows for one "Slides" output (though mirroring that display in your graphics card settings is a work around).

Someone please correct me if this is mistaken.

Chris is spot on. You can have as many screens as you like, but slides can only be output to one screen. To display slides on more than one screen you have to mirror the display.

Today was the first day in our new church building (church plant) -- we're OUT OF THE HOTEL!

no more projectors - we had flat screen TVs .. and WOW, was it ever amazing-er.

Now I know we can get the matrox dual/triple head to go (for thunderbolt) and will be able to do all the displays (local/slides/confidence) ... so excited.

NEXT --- proclaim integrating video -- for overflow/broadcasting

So that means that there is no confidence monitor output? Just the "Slides" output that goes on the main screen?

There are actually 4 output types. The presentation view, the controller view, a confidence monitor, and a notes section. You can see all your options by clicking “settings” at the top.

Can anyone recommend a video card and setup that will support three views (the slides, main, and confidence)? We are running an Asus with i5 processor, 8g DDR, Windows 7, with a EVGA 01G-P3-1302-LR GeForce 8400 GS 1GB 64-bit DDR3 PCI Express Video Card. It has three output ports,1 x HDMI, 1x D-SUB, 1x DVI. So do I just have to connect to each output to have 3 views? Or is there a better video card I can install?
