Adding Visual Markups

In L3, I added 20-25 visual mark-ups for my inductive Bible studying. Obviously, those are unavailable in L4. Does anyone know if adding visual mark-ups is possible yet, and if so, how do I go about adding/making more? Also, does anyone whether or not my old mark-ups will be able to be moved from my L3 or not?

There are two things that are worth you looking at.

File>Visual Filters

Tools>Highlighting

They are working on a tool to port L3 hightlightings over to L4.

Take a look at the two things above and if you need help figuring them out let us know.

I know about those two. What I'm asking is how to ADD more visual mark-ups. I want to actually create new mark-ups for the text. For instance, I want to create a visual mark-up for whenever a measure of time is used in Scripture (the third year of Cyrus the king of Persia) with a clock. However, I can't figure out how to create more mark-ups. 1- Is it possible? 2- How do I do it? 3- Will I be able to move all the ones I created in L3 to L4 at some point down the line?

It is not possible yet. when the beta started out in August there were no highlighting options and it didn't look like they were intending on having it in the initial release. Many strong voices had them reconsider :-) What we have now is, as far as I understand it, a "tide us over" function until the full deal can be implemented. the unfortunate side effect is that having something might have moved the full deal to the back of the list of things to complete.

I'm fairly certain that user-created highlighting formats have been stated as something that will be included though. A confirmation voice would be nice if someone else remembers hearing this.

Thanks Philip! I love L4 and know they are working to get more and more things installed. Until then, I praise God for the tool and resource we have thus far. He is so good!

Amen to that!

I love what L4 looks like today, but I am so excited about what it will look like in 1 year. The new structure they have set up I believe has really prepared them well for the future and opened the door to new possabilities.
