Ancient Language Keyboards and Windows RT

Hello,

I know people have had luck getting the Logos Hebrew/Greek keyboards working with Windows 8. I recently bought a Windows RT tablet. I like the tablet, but I want to be able to type in Hebrew. The Logos app works just fine, so it's not a question of being capable of handling the Hebrew. I knew that WinRT came with limitations as far as what apps could be installed, but I had no idea that this included keyboards.

Has anyone found a Hebrew language keyboard that works with Windows RT? Is there a chance that Logos will release something to the windows store?

We can look into this further, but my initial research into the issue doesn't look promising. We use MSKLC (Microsoft Keyboard Layout Creator) to create our custom keyboards, but according to http://blogs.msdn.com/b/michkap/archive/2012/07/30/10334641.aspx, MSKLC doesn't have the ability to create keyboard layouts for ARM processors. It's not clear to me if keyboards can even be built for x86-based Windows RT devices.

At the moment, it looks like Microsoft is not providing the tools to make it possible to create custom keyboards for Windows RT.

I don't think it will work on my RT, though. Surface Pro uses an intel-based processor and you are able to install x86-based programs. Were I able to do this, I would simply be able to use Logos's keyboard.

I'm not sure if anyone has found a way around this, but if so, I would appreciate some help!

Sure enough, the program needs to be coded for ARM processors. It would be awesome if this could be done!!!!!

Unfortunately, I don't think so. It looks like a keyboard creator for "InKey" software (http://www.inkeysoftware.com/), which appears to be a proprietary keyboard input program. There's no evidence on that site that it works with Windows 8 at all, let alone Windows RT.
