Forum: I wish there were a way to view all recent topics from just General, Logos 4, and Suggestions

I'm having a hard time keeping up with all the traffic on the forums. One thing that would help is if I didn't have to scroll past all the topics I wouldn't be able to contribute to (iPhone, Logos 4 Mac, Logos for Mac 1). I'm not saying I want someone to implement this, just expressing a rhetorical wish that it existed already. Ah, dream on....

(I know I can click in each of the forums I'm interested in and see the recent topics there, but I wish it were all in one place, so I could keep up chronologically.)

I'm not sure how this can be implemented - maybe it can.

My workaround - I always go to http://community.logos.com/forums/topicsnotread.aspx?ForumID=-1 and then I click on the first iphone and logos 4 mac links that I see and mark all those posts in those sub-forums as read and then refresh the "topics not read" page.

Cool! That does what I want. I hadn't discovered the "Unread" link yet. It's actually easier to mark all the posts in the Mac and iPhone subforums as read from the main forum page (there's a Mark Forum Read" link beside each one). In fact, I don't know any other way to do it. I'm not quite sure I understand how you're doing it anyway. If I click on the first iPhone or Mac link I see in my Unread list, I don't see a way in there to mark the whole sub-forum it comes from as read.

Hi Rosie,

When you click on the forum name iphone, look at about 2 oclock on your screen for the link "Mark All Read"

I only ever visit the postsnotread page....

I right click and open in a different tab the subforums I want to mark as read:

On that page, I mark all read:

Close the tab and refresh the postsnotread page...

Once I do that I hold down CTRL and start clicking all of the "latest posts" This morning I started out with about 114 tabs open in Firefox. (I just found a neat litle addon that counts them for me.) I'm down to 14 which means it's almost time to actually go do some work.
