Faithlife & Reading Plans on Android

I convinced a friend to try Faithlife so he created an account and downloaded the app onto his android phone. He does not have a Logos package. for some reason reading plans will not show up on his app.  We are doing a group reading plan and it doesnt show up.  However, the option to create reading plans does not show up either.  I tried reinstalling the app for his but nothing changed.  Any suggestions?

    If he logs in via the web to faithife, does he see the reading plan?
