Help me out please...

In L3 I do a search a get a list that look like this:

The blue verse references give me both a pop-up with a complete example of the verse in question (without my having to scroll right to see it), and I can click the blue link to go to that in my bible. Simple.

L4...not so much. I do a search and I get this:

Never mind that I can barely see the light, light, light gray reference...it isn't a link to anything. The only link is to the chapter...verse 1. That is broke.

So, what am I doing wrong? Or am I perhaps not the one with the problem?

You're doing a basic search rather than a bible search

David, it looks like in the L3 example, you are doing a Bible Search, which is the default kind of search that runs when you click the Search button (or press Ctrl+Shift+S) if your focus was in a Bible.

The image you're showing from your L4 search looks like a Basic Search, though.

Logos 4 will do exactly what you want that you were able to do in L3. Make sure you select the Bible option in the Search pane and once you get the results, be sure the Grid layout option is selected (see red circles below). Logos will remember these settings for subsequent searches.
