open program to blank layout then open a layout and voila... pop-up included. happened twice now with newest 5.1 RC1

in addition discovered this "definition" pop-up that didn't want to go away.
I posted a Bug report on the beta section in hopes someone from Logos will address the matter.
thanks again John. I'm posting RC1 bugs in this forum since Logos released it in both Logos 5 and Beta forums. I hope they address this and many other bugs quickly... it's as though no developer uses the program. [:S]
Would you mind posting more specific reproduction steps for this issue, I am having trouble reproducing it.

Kelly, it appears that all my saved layouts have this unwanted pop-up. same steps: open to blank layout, open any saved layout, = layout with pop-up. [:S]

I think the saved layout needs to have a tab with the text comparison tool open or a tool that requires selection of biblical text.
Seems to be the case. Have reported the same problem with Morph search BUG: Yet another popup that will not die in L5 Mac.

As an "Oh by the way" keeping a text comparison window open has the potential to slow Logos down. I put text comparison on the tool bar. Then, when I want to make a comparison, I just right-click the icon and open text comparison in a floating window. Sometimes, I want to compare all English Bibles—takes dual displays to see all that.

I haven't been able to replicate any of this.
Note: None of the layouts I can think of that have a TC panel in them have been opened since L4 days.
Still experience this behavior with RC3
I am able to reproduce this issue on Mac and have created a case for Development.
