Clearing Tags

I want to clear all the tags from a large portion of my library.  Is highlighting the books in the Library viewer and pressing "clear tags" the best way?  I read in an older post where it was possible some of the tags were not removed.

    "Clear tags" is fine; you could limit the number you select to be safe.
