I would love to be able to move a book to the opening screen on logos 4 but cannot figure out how to do that. My plan is to take a specific book and read through it daily, kind of like a devotional. how can that be done?

Open Files>Reading Plan.
After the word Read will probably be a Bible, in blue characters. Click on that and select the book you want to read (type in the name or author to search your library for the book you want).
Then pick how much of the book you want to read, then how often you want to read.
Then pick a start date and an end date.
EDIT: The reading list should appear automatically on your home page. If you don't see it you may need to scroll to it with the arrows on the left/right side of the 'ribbon.'
(Note: if you mess up or change your mind you can start over, or just delete he reading plan from the right side of the file menu.)

He means click File and then click reading plan, thus:

On the top left of the screeen, in the greyish area you'll see three icons (house, book, magnifying glass). To the right of those icons, you'll see three menu headings (Files, Guides, Tools).Click on "Files," then follow the directions above.
