No Google Play
I received a Nook 10 inch, 32GB for father's day and it does not have a Google Play app. When I try to load the Logos app I receive an error. Being technologically challenged this is no surprise, is there a way to fix my issues.

Some of the current run of Nook HD's are two updates behind from new.
When you first connected to the internet it should have wanted to update, and sometime after that update is complete (it took mine about 30 minutes), and you are signed into your B&N account, it should update again and then have the Play Store available where you can then install Logos.

Thanks, it did update on the initial start up and tried again after signing into the B&N account but failed that second time. I'll try to manually update.

I think B&N just recently enabled the Nook HD's access to the Play Store. As he mentioned, you probably have to do a system update before you gain access.

Mine updated when I first enabled internet in the setup process, but then when I got to the main page, and I was searching for Google Play, it told me that there was another update. That second update was the one that added the new features.

Updated and it added 14 more apps. everything is working well. (I am mildly surprised). Logos app works great.
