My reftagger and flash embedded audio player are not playing nice. I don't know the HTML code to layer the objects so that RefTagger is on top of the audio player. Here is my web page: http://www.southfayettechurch.org/index.asp.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Mitch,
The z-index is the attribute used to dictate stacking order of elements. I don't do web dev anymore so I'm not sure these days which browsers correctly apply it. I'm not much more help, having never used RefTagger...
Maybe this will get you started and someone with more current experience will chime in!
Kaye
Logos has set the z-index of RefTagger to 99:
.lbsTooltip{ background:#fffade; border: 1px solid gray; z-index: 99; text-align: left; text-indent: 0;}If the <div> with your flash player is -1 it will be on the bottom...
Kaye,
I added a specific DIV tag to the embedded flash player and set the z-index to -1 but that didn't work. I'll have to do more research but I really do appreciate your help.
Flash doesn't respect the z-index property. You can force it by making the flash object windowless. Set wmode="transparent" on your embed tag (it is currently set to wmode="window"). Make sure you test that the flash object works correctly in all browsers after making this change. If it breaks somewhere then you'll probably have to revert the change, and there is no other way (that I know of, at least) to position a flash object under other elements. Also note that the wmode property is not supported in some older browsers.
Thanks, Bryan! I knew someone would come along with a more helpful answer. [:)]

Bryan, thanks a million!
Kaye, thank you as well for your kind help.
