Logos 4 Mac & AppTrap

I was inspired by the last two posts on the Logos Blog to actually get involved in the forum, so here goes.

I'm running Logos 4 on my MacBook Pro (Snow Leopard) and I also have AppTrap running to remove files when I uninstall apps. Every time Logos 4 updates AppTrap asks me if I want to leave files or move them to the trash. I've said move files ever time, but I'm wondering if that's the right move or not.

My question is what files are being erased when Logos updates? I'm really hoping it's not the index files.

Any ideas?

I don't know how AppTrap works, but unless you are having to do a full reindex of your resources every time you update Logos4, then I would say that it is not removing anything detrimental. That said, I suppose if I were in your shoes though, I would probably not allow AppTrap to remove any files in the update until I knew what they were (unless drive space is an issue).

I also use AppTrap, and I always allow it to delete those two files. They belong to the Alpha drop that is being replaced.
