Scrolling
I would love to use my iPad Logos app for preaching in portrait position. To enable me to do this, I need the option of 2-column scrolling. the left column would allow me to scroll through my chosen Bible while the right column would allow me to scroll through my sermon notes. For me, this would make the Logos App complete. Please, please, please consider :-)

Hi Scott! Welcome to the forums. [:)]
You think that 2 columns in portrait mode would be better than 2 columns in landscape mode (which you can already do)?

Hi Scott - and welcome to the forums.
are you aware you can do what you are asking for in landscape mode?

i have some issues with the scrolling feature:
1. I have a number of sermon notes... When I click on my chosen note in "compact", the keyboard appears and takes a lot of the screen up. if I click on a note in "full", it shows 2 notes in the column and therefore I am only scrolling through my notes in one corner of the screen.
2. I would like my sermon notes to scroll smoothly in the complete right column without the keyboard appearing or any of my other sermon notes being listed.

I think I have been spoilt through tecarta's NIV Bible app. They have such a smooth scrolling system, but sadly I was unable to change font styles & size. I would have preferred to have more control over how my notes appear. I also prefer scrolling over page turning (including the Bible Column).

Have you considered non-bible programs for your notes? The Logos app isn't designed to give presentations, and I don't anticipate much movement in this area in the near future… but I could always be wrong. [:)]

I just feel that having the ability to scroll (rather than page turning) through the Bible in one column and then being able to scroll through my sermon manuscript in the other column would be an extremely helpful feature. I don't want to project my notes on a screen, therefore I'm not looking for Logos to create features for "presentations" - just the ability to scroll through two columns :-)0 -

Are you aware that you can scroll - use two fingers together and slide up and down?

Agreed. While it basically works today I really wish that Logos would change the way in which notes are presented so that a single note can take up the entire panel (as opposed to about half at the moment). This has been discussed and requested in a number of threads but I haven't seen any response from Logos thus far.

How did you get that right side to appear with that info? I know how to split the screen, but specifically how to get that content on right side?
thank you.

Hey Bev! You caught me waiting in line on vacation. [:)]
In my screenshot, I have opened a note document in the other pane. In the sidebar menu, simply swipe through the various menu panel options.

Vacation sounds fun; waiting in line worked to my advantage! Hope the anticipation was worth the wait. Thanks for the info, I found the + that puts the Note Doc on the right side. But I can't make a note in the note doc while it is open on the right side. Is there a tip on how to do that? I looked through the Logos YouTube videos, but I couldn't find any how to video on it.
Enjoy your vacation!
Thanks again!

Thanks Graham! I'm delighted that scrolling works on Logos app. But sadly it feels unreliable. I would prefer single finger smooth scrolling [:)]
