There is a crashing bug lurking around in Notes, which Martha and I have both seen and haven't been able to reliably reproduce. I'm just promoting it to its own thread so others can be on the lookout for it and try to get a reproducible case to report on the wiki.
The steps (I think) I took when this happened to me were:
Copy a URL from somewhere
Paste it into a note a bunch of times until it fills up the note window and goes beyond a bit
Select the entire Note text (Ctrl+A)
Press Delete
Bingo -- Logos crashed on me
The next time, I think what I did was:
Open that note which had more text in it than would fit in the Note window
Select all the text (Ctrl+A)
Press Delete (it didn't crash this time)
Undo (Ctrl+Z)
Crash!
