Greek Text in Powerpoint 2007

I'm building a powerpoint presentation and need to bring a Greek passage into the slide. I can get the text to paste into Word 2007, but the best I can say about Powerpoint is that it looks transliterated, but not even a good job of that. I've pasted and tried to change the font to Gentium, and Arial Unicode with no joy
How do I get there from here?
Thanks, Dale

Dale,
It sounds like PPT doesn't do unicode. Have you thought of using Graeca/GraecaII? Those two are old-style font replacements (rather than extended unicode fonts), so they should work, as long as Graeca is on both the machine you design the PPT and the system from which you project.

Dale, go find the CARDO font. I use it all the time in my PPT presentations. I've also changed what was some other font in my Word documents to Cardo. Now everything looks even. I am sure there are other fonts that can do the job, but this is the one I use.
God bless

go to start
then open microsoft then mixrosoft office tools
then open
microsoft office 2007 language settings
then under 'available editing language; scroll down to greek and move it over to
'enabeled editing languages' click on ok and then you can cut and paste greek into wprd, ppt, publisher. do the same with hebrew too

Ron, this is a really cool tip!
Many thanks for this, I have been trying to get MS Powerpoint 2007 to work with Greek fonts for a while and this hadn't occured to me.
My lecturer will be happy to know it as well I'm guessing!
One question with this though? Will it transfer to a different machine if these settings have not been changed on the other machine?
How to ask for help for Logos issues.

I don't know that. try it, if not you may have to 'update' that other computer

When you save the PPT presentation, click the Tools button at the bottom of the Save dialog and choose to embed the fonts used in the presentation. That way, you can show the presentation on any computer and the fonts will show as you originally used them.
