SInce getting my iPad, my workflow has changed (again)!
This means that I want to rationalise and revisit some of my highlighted text, and their note files etc. (I am also re-defining some of the styles, since the iPad's black screen does not seem to reverse the highlighter pen ... white writing on a white background does not work well
)
The Question....
I have a style in a palette. I want to find all instances of that style within my notes files so that I can review the entry and move it into a different notes file if needed. How do I do this?
In a basic search, instead of searching 'all text' I can choose a style, but then what search term should I use? * does not seem to bring any results in a meaningful time frame (10 minutes+).
When I use *e* I get results but it then takes 745 seconds to find 1148 results in 38 articles, and 9 resources. However, when I attempt to delete the style in the highlghting palette, it immediately tells me that it is used by 48 annotations. This figure ('48') does not relate to the search hits ... I can see why, and understand what the search hit results mean (usually) ... so how can I list the '48'?
I do not want to delete, or restyle these annotations ... I want to see them! Now, I have highlighted the immediately ... because it seems to me ... that the location of these highlights must be indexed somewhere ... I want to ideally search for the style and see the corresponding note entry rather than the resource, but wither will do.
Thanks.
