Reading Plan

Does anybody out there know how to cancel a Reading Plan. It seems easy to alter it but not to cancel it outright.

Click Files and find your reading plan (you may have to type a title in the search box if you've made a lot of files. Right click and delete it!

Thanks Kevin. That was helpful. I was attempting to delete it from the "edit reading plan"

If I'm not using v4 (it's not ready for Mac yet), where do I find those reading plans?

I don't recall reading plans in the Mac version 1. If the Alpha doesn't have them right now you will need the Windows version of 4 to set one up. Reading plans are generated by Logos 4 with the parameters you input (book and length of time to finish. If you have the Win version you can Click File and under New click "Reading Plan" and then you can input the details.
Read: http://wiki.logos.com/Reading_Plans for the steps to create a manual reading plan (non-contiguous).

I too am having trouble with reading plans. They seem to multiply, probably because I am running L4 on three devices; Mac desktop, PC laptop and Ipod touch.
Every time I open the soft ware there seems to be another one duplicated on the Mac and PC, there is only one on the Ipod, but it is not synced with any of the others. I can't figure out how to erase them on the Mac. The above instructions don't work on the Mac because there is no right click button on the mouse. The usual technique of dragging the file into the trash does nothing.
I suppose I could just let them continue to multiply like a benign growth, but it offends my sense of order.

First, welcome to the forums!
As an avid Mac user, I can assure you that there IS a right click on mac. You just need to know how to do it. If you don't have a magic mouse, then you need to control-click and the right click contextual menu will appear.

Have you tried the latest 4.3? So far I've been quite pleased with this version. There are some areas with semi-major issues remaining (scrolling in a few place, some issues navigating notes) but on the whole the Mac version has gotten very close to the Windows version. It has taken a while, but it's worth checking out if you haven't in a while.
