I have trouble syncing whenever adding material to Proclaim. Typically, this occurs using Powerpoint importing slides, png or jpg images created from slides or videos created in wmv using save as in powerpoint.
I create the graphic in powerpoint. Then, import into Proclaim syncing to the group (as this computer is not used for presentation). I do the work at home on a relatively new Toshiba Satellite laptop, plenty of RAM and processor speed. My internet connection is via satellite dish, which typically has 600ms ping (long I know) and 3-4MB download, and less than 1 MB upload. (We live in the boonies and no other viable option exist). When we had a wireless internet provider, the ping times were a shorter (50ms) and speeds were always 1-2 MB down, 1 MB up and I experienced the same problems.
So when I import into proclaim, I get the box in the lower left that indicates that it's syncing, then "ERROR Syncing ...." Real short video clips are the most problematic, but even simply graphics take multiple (6 or more) tries to sync.
