Logos crash on open

Well, for the third time since I upgraded to Logos 5 in Dec it won't open without crashing... Did Logos mess something up again? I have deleted the app, downloaded a fresh version and it still crashes... I have never had a problem with any program on MAC except Logos, and no other program costs even close to as much...

I have responded in your other thread. There is no reason to post in this forum, since you are using L5. 

FYI - Most often doing a reinstall of the app wont fix anything... unless you delete all the data files as well. However, since that requires a complete redownloading and reindexing of all your resources, it isn't recommended unless absolutely necessary. It would be much better to enable logging and post logs, which will allow the techies to "take a look under the hood." 

The only reason to delete and redownload the app is if there was a problem with the download and installation of the app. Most of the time however, the problem lies in the database or index files or in the application itself. If the problem is with a database or index, deleting and redownloading the app is pointless because the corrupted database or index is waiting for you still once you redownload the app. If the problem is in the app itself (a bug), deleting and redownloading the app is pointless because you will just be redownloading the same app, with the same bug. [;)]
