"See inside" Must contain table of contents

I have recently looked at many books on the website that do not have the TOC as part of the preview in the "See inside" feature. If I don't already know about the book, then the TOC is the main thing that determines whether or not I buy that book or not. I will not buy a book that I am not already familiar with if I can't see the TOC. I can't imagine that I am the only one. Having to look it up at Amazon should not be necessary.

Please show the TOC in all previews. [:'(]

I agree, but in the past I have noted that some previews contained almost only the TOC. A preview should contain the TOC plus a reasonable amount of text.

Entire TOC, plus first few of pages of the preface/intro, plus at least some of the actual content of the book. I've also seen books like dictionaries or commentaries where the only sample content came from the preface. You can't judge the quality of a dictionary or commentary by its introductory matter. You need to see a couple of pages of actual dictionary or commentary.

That's all well and good if you're looking at the preview inside Logos, but evidently Joseph was looking on the website and found many books that did not include the TOC as part of the "See Inside" feature on the product description pages. There is no way to go from the product description page to an in-product preview of a resource you don't known. This is a feature that should be added to the website. Click on a link on the product description page, and it should open Logos to a preview of that resource if you don't own it, or the resource itself if you do own it. If it's a collection, then there should be multiple links, one next to each volume listed in the collection.

There is no way to go from the product description page to an in-product preview of a resource you don't known. This is a feature that should be added to the website.

If I understand you correctly, Rosie, I think you misunderstood Mick. On the web site, in the window in which the "See Inside" preview is displayed, there is a ToC button along the top. Clicking this brings up a dedicated, expandible / collapsible ToC for the resource. This fairly effectively works around the problem that the ToC isn't always displayed as part of the "See Inside" pages for the resource.

No. According to the post NB.Mick linked to, it was instituted in Jan 2012. But that was before you posted your initial question. You must just not have noticed the feature. And I didn't either, since I misunderstood his post. Now I see the TOC icon and am very pleased about it. Thanks, Logos!
