My Logos 4 program has "unexpectedly quit" several times over the past few days. Most of the time (as was the situation now) it has done this after closing down the Reading Pane View to return to the layout view (it has crashed when returning to different layout views).

I took a look at your logs, but was only recently promoted to "half techie." [:)] I could not ascertain the exact nature of the problem… but could it be a corrupted layout? Have you tried rebuilding it? Hopefully a techie will be by before too long to shed more light.
On another note: Is there a reason you have yet to update to at least the free L5 engine? You are running 10.7 and there is no reason not to update. Here is a link to the installation guide: http://www.logos.com/installation An advantage of updating: you can post in the L5 forums. The L4 ones are like a ghost town.
