Another Thread about Logos Crashing at Startup

Didn't mean to interject on someone else's thread of the same topic. My guess is that if each person that has the same issue starts a new thread this forum will be filled to capacity quite quickly....but here we go.

Since the update this morning Logos crashes on startup every time I try to launch. Can anyone offer advice? Was working fine before update today.

Your crash log indicates a corrupted database file: (System.Data.SQLite.SQLiteException: database disk image is malformed), unfortunately, I don't know which one. Hopefully Logos or a techie will be by soon to advise you more.

I could be wrong, but I don't think that you are experiencing the "same issue" as the last forum user. In any case, I have not noticed an avalanche of crashes with this build.

It looks like your Library Catalog is corrupt, and Logos is crashing when trying to write updated metadata to the catalog. So close Logos and delete /Users/michaelhite/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Data/is71ls56.p0q/LibraryCatalog/catalog.db

Then, start-up Logos. It will have to rebuild that file, which can take a long time (anything from 2 minutes to 30 minutes depending on the number of resources and the speed of your computer). You'll get the "Preparing Your Library" message whilst it's working.

Thanks Mark - That seems to have solved it although it is rebuilding my entire index now. Hopefully that will get things back where they were before. Thanks for the help.
