Transferring Logos 4 to a new laptop.

I am about to move to a new laptop. can you tell me the process... step by step would be useful please... about how I should set about starting and completing this process. 

I have all the disks I think I need. 

My guess, from previous experience is to load the last set of Installation disks, (Logos 4) register again (Transfer the license) and hope and pray that Logos adds all the books that I have under the contract I have with them. 

is that all I need to do?

Hi Gavin - and welcome to the forums.

Assuming you have Internet access I would advise against using disks as the software is currently being updated.

You can simply install the software engine (link at http://www.logos.com/support/logos4/install), log in using your existing credentials and your resources will be downloaded.

To avoid having to download resources again you can use one of the options outlined at http://wiki.logos.com/Quick_Installation_onto_multiple_computers

Also, have you thought about moving to Logos 5? While there are a range of chargeable upgrade options which provides different levels of functionality, upgrading to the engine itself is free and available at http://www.logos.com/installation
